Class objectives
The class seeks to assess the effectiveness of international organizations and discuss the roles they pay so as to gain a deeper understanding.
Class content
Asynchronous discussions were conducted between the Japanese and American groups using the "forum" function of COIL-Moodle. In addition, the students from the University of Alabama posted their responses to the question "What is your assessment on the effectiveness of international organizations?" Based on these responses, it is assumed that the students from both universities will exchange opinions asynchronously where they will have a discussion on the theme of "United States and international organizations."

授業目的
国際組織への評価やその役割について議論し、理解を深める。
授業内容
各グループに分かれて、COIL-Moodleの「フォーラム」機能で非同期の話し合いをすることを課題とした。さらにアラバマ大学の学生による「国際組織をどのように評価するか」という問いに答えて書いた意見に対して、「アメリカと国際組織」というテーマでアラバマ大学との学生と質問をしつつ議論をすると仮定し、非同期の意見交換を行った。
