The students considered what it means to study Japanese art through shared experience, lectures, productions, and presentations. Students from Chiba University transformed themselves into Japanese artists when making presentations while expressing themselves in English and presenting visual materials. The use of ICT as a part of teacher training, along with exchange depending on the topic of the study of art from various backgrounds, is believed to contribute to training the cultural capabilities that are now required in teachers.
