授業目的
Class objectives
This course invites international teams of students to reflect on the facilitators and barriers to accessing health. Through the examination of current health topics, Japanese and American students examine the social determinants of health.
授業内容
Class content
After a quick ice-breaker (2/1 ~ 2/8),
Students will critically analyze written and video materials to understand the similarities and differences between the American and the Japanese healthcare system (2/9 ~ 2/15).
They will then learn about the mental health of nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic (2/15 ~ 2/26).
Finally, they will produce a short video essay to highlight possible applications of social media (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) to support the mental health of nursing students (2/26 ~ 3/14).
