Class objectives
To enhance Japanese and American students' understanding of development assistance as a global issue
Class content
A video lecture giving an overview of Official Development Assistance (ODA) and the characteristics of Japanese and U.S. ODA was shared on Moodle and viewed by both Japanese and American students. Then, students at the University of Alabama posted questions about Japanese ODA. Students from Chiba University's School of International Liberal Studies created video presentations in response to the questions submitted, thus deepening the discussion.

授業目的
グローバルイシューの一つとして、開発援助について日米の学生の理解を深める
授業内容
政府開発援助（ODA）についての概説および日米のODAの特徴についてのビデオ・レクチャーをMoodle上で共有し、日米双方の学生が視聴した。その上で、アラバマ大学の学生が日本のODAについての質問を投稿した。千葉大学国際教養学部の学生は、寄せられた質問に対して、回答となるビデオ・プレゼンテーションを作成し、議論を深めた。
