  • I identify myself as a teacher-researcher. My main interests lie in intercultural teaching and learning. Here are my key research questions:
    - How do people interact to learn each other's language(s) and culture(s)?
    - What enables people from different cultures to help each other?
    - What is the role of education in making this world a better place?

    - 人はどのように関わり合いながらお互いの言語と文化を学び合うのか。
    - 異なる文化を持つ人々が手を携えて生きるためには何が必要なのか。
    - 教育はこの世界をよくするためにどのような役割を果たせるのか。
